v1.0.11 Latest
Oct 9, 2026
Fixed: skills from an update didn't appear until a manual restart.
- The in-app updater now restarts the bot after swapping the apps. The bot runs as a separate process that survived updates — so the new skill library (which installs itself at bot startup) never ran, and the Skills tab stayed empty after updating.
- It uses the same restart as the menu bar's “Restart server”.
- Right after an update, the Skills & Features tab now re-scans automatically, so freshly installed skills show up without tab-hopping.
Fixed: fresh installs had no skills.
- The app now ships the full skill library (Voice, Briefing, Reminders, Stocks and more — 21 playbooks). On first run the bot installs them into its skills folder; your own edits and bot-authored skills are never overwritten.
- The Self-extension skill — the bot creating, updating and retiring its own skills and standing tasks — now installs itself on every machine, with card titles in all 19 languages.
- After an in-app update, the settings window now opens directly on the Updates page showing the new installed version, with a “What's new” recap.
Fixed: the in-app update could report a good download as “corrupt”.
- On a Mac still running 1.0.7, updating to 1.0.8 inside the app could fail with “Verification failed — the download may be corrupt”. The download was fine: the installer just looked for the app in a place 1.0.8 had moved.
- The installer keeps a compatibility link at the old location, so 1.0.7 installs now update cleanly and 1.0.8 installs use the direct path. The DMG still shows just one app to drag.
- Every release build now mounts its own DMG and proves both updater paths can install it before it ships.
The bot can now teach itself new skills — and one app in the installer.
- Self-extension: if the bot can’t do something you ask for, it can write itself a skill for it, schedule it (daily or weekly), test it, and show you the result. New skills appear in the Skills & Features tab immediately.
- Bot-authored skills are yours to manage: toggle or remove them in the app; the bot can never overwrite the built-in ones.
- When the local model server is asleep, the bot now wakes it and tells you it’s starting up, instead of showing a false ‘all providers failed’ error.
- The installer now contains one app: just drag “Telebot AI” to Applications — settings travel inside it.
- Start in Settings repairs a broken launch setup by itself, and the in-app update now relaunches the menu bar app afterwards.
Telebot AI now runs on every Mac: the bundled app can finally start its bot.
- Start server now works in the downloaded app on a fresh Mac: the bot launches as a background LaunchAgent instead of silently failing.
- Settings import creates the data folder when needed and reports the real error if anything goes wrong — no more silent no-ops.
- The bot's components are bundled with the app, so no extra Python install is required.
- After an import, Telebot AI checks your server's model list and warns (without blocking) if the chosen model isn't served.
Dock icon control, safer settings edits, and stronger privacy for free-tier users.
- The settings window has a Dock icon toggle: hide the icon and the window stays put — the menu bar item always brings it back.
- Settings… in the menu bar reliably reopens the settings window in every state, even when the Dock icon is hidden.
- Safer saving: an edit that would silently drop one of your bot tokens is now blocked with a clear message.
- Free-tier users can no longer see which AI model is running the bot.
Editable bot fields, cleaner field descriptions, and a public free tier with daily limits.
- Bot fields (nickname, chat IDs, and more) are editable again.
- Field descriptions are clean and readable in all 19 languages.
- Public mode opens your bot to everyone with a free daily allowance.
- Burst and daily limits keep public usage fair.
- Quotas and analytics run entirely on your Mac.
Chat history search, an auto-detect language option, and a fully localized skill library.
- Chat history search — ask "what did we say about X?" and momo finds it in past conversations
- Auto-detect language — the app can follow your Mac's language automatically, or pick any of 19
- All 21 skill cards in 19 languages — every skill's name, description and group
- Clearer skill groups — Finance, Reports, Productivity, Media, Memory and Fun
- Auto-memory is now a real toggle — switch it in Skills & Features
- Language setting stays put — fixed a bug that could silently reset it to English
Nineteen languages, a per-user daily report, and briefing as a skill toggle.
- 19 languages — English, 中文, Español, 日本語, Deutsch, Français, Português, 한국어, Italiano, Русский, العربية, हिन्दी, Bahasa Indonesia, Türkçe, Nederlands, Polski, Tiếng Việt, ไทย and Українська. The picker shows every language in its own script with the English name beside it — you can always find yours.
- Per-user daily report —
/daily on turns on a report with your own time, your own crypto coins and your own prompt; every user's preferences are stored separately.
- Briefing is now a skill — the briefing skill toggle is the one master switch: skill off means no scheduled reports, no
/briefing and no model composition.
- Simpler settings — the briefing time, prompt and crypto rows are gone; the “Chats & briefing” section is now simply Chats.
- Quitting the menu bar app now closes the settings window too.
Seven languages, one-click in-app updates, and a “What’s new” sheet after every update.
- 7 languages — English, 中文, Español, 日本語, Deutsch, Français and Português. The sidebar picker switches everything live: pages, skill cards, the menu bar app and release notes. More languages are a content-add away.
- Auto-update inside the app — when a new version is available, the Updates page shows Update Now: it downloads, verifies the DMG, quits, swaps both apps atomically and relaunches you on the new version. No browser, no drag-and-drop.
- “What’s new” sheet after every update — the app reopens with the release notes for the version you just installed, in your language. One-time per update.
- Every surface speaks your language — sidebar, bot pages, defaults, skill cards, popups, the menu bar app and the skills sheet.
- Per-model usage — the Model page shows how many requests and tokens each model served; each bot page shows its own request/token stats.
- Menu bar app is now accessory-only — one clean “Telebot AI” icon in the Dock and Cmd-Tab (the settings app), no duplicates.
- Clicking the Dock or Cmd-Tab icon re-creates the settings window if it was closed.
Friendlier errors, clearer update feedback, and an auto-check toggle.
- If the app ever fails to start, you now get a "Telebot AI couldn't start" dialog with Visit website to report (opens the feedback form), Copy error and Quit — no more cryptic crash dialogs.
- Check for Updates now shows real feedback: the menu item flips to ✓ Up to date, and the Updates page shows the result in green (orange while checking, with a Download link when a new version is out). The checking state is held long enough to actually see.
- New Check automatically setting on the Updates page — turn the launch + 24-hour update checks on or off (default on).
- Updates page tidied up — installed version, status and the check/download buttons now sit together in one clean row instead of divider-separated clutter.
The first public release — the bridge between your Telegram bots and any LLM, local or cloud.

- Multiple bots — one per token, each with its own model, personality and skills.
- Bring your own brain — mlx-serve, Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, OpenRouter — with automatic fallbacks when a provider goes down.
- 30+ model-driven tools — reminders, weather, stocks, crypto, polls, dice, expenses, habits, bookmarks, RSS feeds, translation, currency, PDF & receipt scanning, memory, digests and briefings.
- Keyless data sources — weather, currency, Wikipedia, SEC filings — no API keys required.
- Telegram-native — streaming replies, typing dots, animated dice, native polls, voice notes in and out.
- Local-first privacy — chat history, memories and skills live in ~/.mlx-serve on your Mac.
- macOS 13+, Apple Silicon. Unsigned build — right-click → Open on first launch.
